Admission Philosophy
MUISS admits students that are qualified for university studies based on national and international standards. By this the General Certificate of Education (GCE) Advanced Level or any national or international equivalent are admitted to study in MHISS. The minimum requirement for admission is a pass (at one sitting) in two Advance Level subjects or its equivalent.

We do not put priority on collecting our students. We look at every single applicant’s application, academic qualifications, and personal experience without discrimination, to select students who suit our community and department with a full range of backgrounds.
Admission into the HND program at MHISS consists of a pass in at least four ‘O’ Levels subjects, plus a pass in at least two ‘A’ Levels subjects excluding Religious Studies. Equivalents by the Ministry of Higher Education are also welcomed. For bachelor’s degree programs, HND/HPD/BTS holders in a relevant and accredited subject are eligible. There is also a direct entry for A Levels ‘holders,’ for those who want to do the three (3) year BSc program, under the Mentorship of our national and international Universities.

- 4 Passport Size Photographs 4×4
- Registration fee of 30,000 Frs CFA
BACHELOR'S REQUIREMENTS
- Certified true copy of HND result certificate from the Ministry of Higher Education
- Certified true copy of birth certificate
- Certified true copy of A Levels/BAAC
- Photocopy of N.I.C
- 2 passport size photographs 4×4
- Registration fee of 40,000 Frs CFA
MASTER'S REQUIREMENTS
- Certified Bachelor’s Degree Certificate or testimonial
- Certified medical certificate
- Transcript of Degree results
- Recommendation letter from 2 lecturers
- Photocopy of employment letter ,if employed.
- Registration fee of 50,000 Frs CFA

Things To Know First
The Common Application is required for students applying to any or all of MHISS’s degrees. You’ll be able to choose your campus and the programs that you are interested in.
You will need
- To ensure all sections are completed and that the declaration is signed and dated. Forward your completed form to the MHISS Secretariat, Buea.
- Fill and submit an application form either online or at our admission offices in Buea and Limbe.
- To pay a non-refundable application fee.

You are joining a University that is young, vibrant, friendly, and built on the footholds of possibility, tenacity, and a ‘we-do’ attitude. We are located in the carefully chosen Cosmopolitan city of Buea, the town of legendary hospitality, situated at the foot of Mount Cameroon.
Mount Cameroon, is a volcanic massif of Southwestern Cameroon that rises to a height of 13,435 feet (4,095 meters) and extends 14 miles (23 km) inland from the Gulf of Guinea. It is the highest peak in sub-Saharan western and central Africa and the westernmost extension of a series of hills and Mountains that form a natural boundary between northern Cameroon and Nigeria
The town of Buea lies on the southeastern slope of the mountain, and the port of Limbe (formerly Victoria) with its beautiful Beaches, lies at its southern foot. The side of the mountain facing the sea has a mean annual precipitation level of more than 400 inches (10,000 mm) and is one of the wettest places in the world. The mountain’s rich volcanic soils support bananas, rubber, oil palms, tea, and cacao; valleys are used as pasture. You are about to join a Professional, Catholic, Business, and Entrepreneurial University that upholds excellence in all facets of its work and life.

Transfer students
The institution is equally open to the transfer of credits for admission into different levels of studies based on a systematic study of the student’s transcript from previous accredited institutions. Admission into postgraduate schools is based upon the successful completion of undergraduate studies in authorized and accredited universities.
Upon application for admission, students will be served with admission and registration procedures and conditions. After a successful registration into any level of studies, students will be served with a student manual that specifies all academic, social, and recreational services for the benefit of the student.
